Our story began in high school, friends, hello’s along the corridors, sports field sideline waves, small talk in between classes but the eye always wondered toward her.

​

We followed passions and pursued careers, “semigrations” across seas however always seemed to keep in touch. After “experiencing life” some would say, I settled back in Cape Town. Months went by and I couldn’t get her off my mind, friends still? Who knows…

​

An attraction deeper than just a man and a woman, is she my soulmate? This all confused me, but she captivated everyone around her, me included.

​

Our friendship changed when we kissed for the first time 27 February 2022 and from then on have never doubted our love for each other.

Why did we choose 11 November 2023?

Months went by and the time 11:11 always seemed to pop up when sharing our days happenings. On a rainy Cape Town Saturday morning in bed, Zoë asked me, “what are the chances 11:11 is a Saturday, and it was. We decided then, lets get married this year! She is bold and brave and never afraid to take anything on.

​

Since then, everything has fallen into place, I can’t wait to see my beautiful bride in white and commit to her for the rest of my life.
