What time should we arrive at the venue?

Please arrive by 14:30, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 15:00.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Formal / Garden Elegant—think suits, cocktail dresses, or elegant gowns suitable for a Winelands celebration. (Ladies, no black or white).

What is the nearest airport?

The closest airport is Cape Town International Airport (CPT), located approximately 25 km from Stellenbosch. A taxi or shuttle ride typically takes 30–40 minutes.

Will transportation be provided?

Yes - guests staying in Stellenbosch will have access to a return shuttle service from the airport and hotels. More details will be shared closer to the date.

Can I bring my children?

We’re happy to welcome children during the cocktail hour.

For the ceremony and reception, for children under 5 years of age a professional nanny service will be available onsite to care for little ones in a safe and fun environment. Details on how to register your child for this service will be provided with your request.

What’s the weather like at that time of year?

Expect warm, sunny weather in late March, with daytime highs around 26 °C (79 °F). An evening wrap or shawl is recommended for the cooler breezes after sunset.

How long should we stay in Stellenbosch for the wedding?

We suggest that you spend 2 nights in Stellenbosch as generally check-in time is 2/2.30pm and the wedding starts at 2.30pm. We suggest arriving 30th March - leaving April 1st.  We also suggest visiting Cape Town/ Franshhoek and surrounding areas before and/or after while in the area.
