THINGS TO DO

Hike/cable car up Table Mountain.

Clifton beach (go to Clifton 2nd, not as busy) - the beach is very vibey and there is a great spot for drinks called Cafe Caprice.

Walk on Seapoint Promenade (try to go morning or evening) and then have a swim at the end which is called Saunders beach.

Hike/walk along the pipe track.

Lions Head Hike (do early morning, takes about 90 mins in total - crazy views.

Surfing in Muizenberg - nice beach to learn to surf!

See the penguins at Boulder's Bay.

Go visit Kalk Bay - cute little seaside town with fat seals basking on the pier.

Orangezicht market on the weekends in the mornings, or Wednesday evenings - Insane food market overlooking the sea.

Bokaap if you want to see the colourful houses and some Cape Town heritage. They do walking tours which you would need to book in advance!

V&A Waterfront - nice shops and restaurants but quite busy.

Wine Tasting! There are so many nice wine farms in Cape Town itself (Constantia Glen / Beau Constantia / Buitenverwachting etc) all of which also have unbelievable restaurants (super cheap and make sure to get a cheese / charcuterie board)

Franschhoek - incredible little town in the middle of the winelands.

Franschhoek Wine Tram - such a good day out! (Andy and myself will be super keen to do this on the morning of the 19th of November - let us know if you'd want to join us for this!

Stellenbosch town itself - very cute university town (15 mins drive from the wedding venue) with so many wine farms nearby.

Some of our favourite wine farms around these areas include: Vrede en Lust (obviously), Boschendal, Haute Cabriere, Babylonstoren, Le Lude, Alluvia, Le Pommier and Jordans Wine Estate.

Segway Sip & see Art Tours.

Cape Town restaurant recommendations! If you know us well, you know we are self-appointed foodies but objectively speaking too- South Africa genuinely has some of the best restaurants in the world and the prices are so much more affordable than London.
