Love

OUR STORY

where it all began

Our journey began at a young age; naive, bright eyed and bushy tailed, never expecting the gulf of love awaiting us around the corner.

We met during Kolosa's first year and Bantu's second year at the University of The Western Cape. Fate placed us in the same residence, and soon we found ourselves sharing more than just a residence — we shared constant stares and a connection that neither of us could have anticipated. From the very first words exchanged, we knew we had found something scary, sacred and special. We became inseparable, and in those halls and corridors, our bond grew into something safe, warm, and constant — carrying with it a quiet magic and a sense of promise.

For ten wonderful years, our love grew and flourished, but life’s unpredictable paths led us to separate. Distance tested us, and though we parted ways, the memories of what we shared remained etched in our hearts. Years passed, but fate and Gods promise, ever faithful, brought us back to each other’s arms. As if no time had ever passed, We rediscovered the magic that first drew us close, and it felt as though no time had passed at all.

Now, stronger, more certain, and more driven by Gods purpose over our union, we stand side by side — inseparable and ready to begin this new chapter of our lives, bound by a love that has endured time, distance, and everything in between. Above all, we have humbly trusted Gods perfect timing to take the lead.

Here we are, asking you to join us before God in uniting us as one.
