Where is the wedding day taking place?
Our entire wedding will take place at our venue, Johannesdal 1207
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive no later than 14:30pm in the afternoon.
Welcome drinks will be served from 14:00pm and our ceremony begins punctually at 15:00pm.
When should I RSVP by?
We ask that you RSVP by September 20th 2024 in order to provide our venue and vendors with accurate numbers in a timely manner. If we do not receive your RSVP by the date specified, we will mark you as “not attending”
What is the dress code?
Our wedding is a formal wedding. We would love for our family and friends to dress up with us in Formal Black Tie attire.
What should I wear?
We have curated illustrations to help you with the dress code inspiration here.
Ladies, we would love to see you in formal dresses or pantsuits. We recommend block heels or heel stoppers as there is grass present at the venue. Please avoid wearing colours reserved for the bride such as white, ivory or cream.
Gentleman, we would love to see you suit up! Please avoid wearing jeans, chinos, shorts and t-shirts.
Can I bring my children?
We love your little ones! However, our wedding is an adults only event.
We encourage you to take the night off and celebrate with us!
Can I bring a guest/ plus one?
Our wedding is an intimate occasion with close family and friends, we kindly request no additional guests or plus ones. We can only accommodate guests formally included in your invitation.
Will there be an open bar?
Drinks will be flowing throughout the day. Selected drinks are on us and a cash bar will be available for other liquor options, please bring your bank card or Apple pay along.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Ample free parking is available inside as you enter Johannesdal. We have arranged that you are able to leave your cars overnight for collection the next morning after the wedding (no later than 9.45am please) We have also included a number of transport options here should you wish to reserve a vehicle to collect you after the wedding. Pre scheduling an Uber via the app is a great option too.
Where should we stay?
We highly recommend staying in the area for your own convenience if you are able to. We have provided accommodation options within close proximity to the venue.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Our ceremony will be unplugged. We would love for you all to be fully present in our special moment and request that your phones are away and on silent during our ceremony. Our talented photographers will do their thing. Feel free to snap away as much as you would like to after our ceremony.
Will the wedding events take place indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors and our reception onwards will all be indoors.
What time will the wedding end?
We’d love to have you celebrate with us until the end! Our reception will move over to the after party area at 23:00pm and continue until 02:00am.
Wedding gifts and registry:
Your presence on our special day is truly the greatest gift. If you would like to spoil us, we would greatly appreciate a cash contribution to the start of our new life together as a married couple.

Can I choose my meals in advance?
Being the foodies that we are, we are confident in our menu selection for the day. However, should you have any dietary requirements / allergies, please indicate this in your RSVP in order to best accommodate you.
