Our Story

High School Sweethearts

7 years ago, a certain pupil had gone against the rules by wearing makeup to school, (in case you’re wondering it was not James). The teacher involved James, the class prefect, who had to write this pupil up and deliver the notice to the office for filing. However, this ticket never reached the office doors…

This was the first time that James and Elisma met, and who would’ve guessed an encounter like that would lead to an event like this.

For months on end, James could not gather together the courage to talk to this make- up -wearing- rebel called Elisma. All interaction consisted out of awkward staring followed by blushing and sweating. In the magical year of September everything changed… He still couldn’t speak to her. So, he used the courting methods used by millennials all over the word and went all out by sending her a Facebook friend request. This Friend request eventually led to a conversation… (Online of course he didn’t want to move too fast!)

Elisma was already so head-over-heels in love with James, that she pretended to be in the girls’ Hockey team just to impress him! (That says a lot, because Elisma doesn’t run. Ever.)

A conversation that led to a music concert that led to a first date, somehow this awkward guy named James got the class rebel to be his girlfriend. To this day no one knows how…

Seven years later they are finally saying: “I do.”
