Seven years ago, on an Autumn day in Stellenbosch, Byron arrived at Irene Residence to collect Kelly for a date.  They eventually decided upon the Rooiplein, for coffee.  Little did they know that this day would mark the beginning of a remarkable love story.

The next day, the University's recess period commenced and Byron embarked on a journey back to Gauteng, while Kelly returned to the Eastern Cape.

The long-awaited reunion arrived as the recess period drew to a close. On the 16th of July 2016, Byron arrived at Irene Residence, bearing a bouquet of blossoms, and asked Kelly to be his girlfriend

5 years later and the day that changed their lives forever arrived on the 14th of September 2021. When Byron knelt down on one knee, and asked Kelly to marry him .

Their hearts brim with anticipation as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives, forever entwined as Mr. and Mrs. Sarjoo.
